We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone number, university, NIN (for verification only, stored securely by our verification partners Dojah and Smile Identity), and transaction data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide marketplace services, process transactions through Lockbox escrow, verify identity for vendor accounts, communicate about your account, improve our services and comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Security
We use industry-standard security. NIN data is handled exclusively by our verification partners and is never stored on Euphorium servers. Payment credentials stay server-side and are never exposed to the frontend.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with: payment processors (Paystack, Flutterwave) for transaction processing, verification partners (Dojah, Smile Identity) for identity verification, and law enforcement when required by law.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use analytics to understand how the Platform is used. This includes page views, traffic sources and device information. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, export your data and object to processing. Contact us at hello@euphorium.ng to exercise these rights.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Transaction records are retained for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion at any time.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Platform or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
